TRASH PICK-UP & RECYCLING

Sarasota County offers trash services through a third-party contract (FCC Environmental Services of Florida, LLC). The pick-up schedules are as follows:

  • Trash Pick-Up: Thursday morning

  • Recyclables: Thursday morning

  • Bulk Pick-Up: To schedule a pick-up, please call 941-557- 5040

 

Kindly note that trash, recyclables, and bulk pick-up items should not be placed at the curbside for collection any earlier than the evening before the scheduled pick-up. Furthermore, all cans, containers, or remains should be promptly brought indoors within four (4) hours after pick-up.

Additionally, it's essential to be aware that yard waste, such as tree branches or palm fronds, will be collected but subject to specific requirements regarding their placement at the curb.
